Lit. Block May 14th-18th

We've made it!  It's the last week of school!  It has gone by fast.  I've really enjoyed this year's class.  It's been really great to watch them grown and develop as readers and writers, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they accomplish in the future.

I hope that everyone had a great three day weekend! I'm hoping the extra day of sleep will help our students feel well rested and geared up for their ISATS this week. 

Lit. Block April 16th-19th

I apologize for not posting last week.  We were so busy prepping and gearing up for the Reading ISAT that I overlooked posting until mid way through the week!  Our seventh grade clasess took the reading ISAT this past Friday.  I was more than impressed.

Welcome back! I’m hoping that you had a great spring break and that you’re geared up for the remainder of the quarter. It’s hard to believe, but we only have seven weeks until the end of the year!

What are we working on this week?

We are finishing up the end of our poetry unit this week. Students completed their poetry book submissions on Monday and will be sharing one of their poems with the class on Tuesday.
